Well, that's exciting. Get home late, not pay attention, my computer updates itself to XP SP3. Gonna be an exciting day I bet!

Backend of the trip worked. Made the 1126 MAX to Hollywood to bus 75 to St. John's via Lombard, and a short walk puts me home in an hour.

ORD to PDX for 11pm arrival ...

Recharging banks t O'Hare are a handy dandy thing.

Third time, not lucky. Battery life now insufficient to reach to the next flight's departure.

... and the second. Laptop says 2:14 of battery life left. Not bad after well over 4 hours of use so far.

Flying standby rocks when you get First for next to nothing. Getting up at 5:30 to see the plane leave without you makes it less so.

Good meetings, good food, caught up with MidWest friends, got my Harley out of hock and sold it. Good times.

Grrrr, work intruded on vacation ... well, considering it's CST, work intruded on what should be sleep. Fun-filled (work) day tomorrow ...
